Bal Bhavan

The Father Agnel Ashram is a charitable institution in India. Founded under the inspiration and guidance of the Father Conceicao Rodrigues and a dedicated few, the movement started with an orphanage and a trade school in carpentry. Today this movement has grown from a humble beginning to a universal family. Under the guidance of Agnel Ashram Fathers, it caters to full fledged schools, industrial training centres, polytechnics, engineering colleges at the bachelor and post graduate levels and a School of Management and has spread its wings with large technical complexes at Bandra in Mumbai, Verna in Goa, New Delhi, Greater Noida, Ambernath, Vashi in Navi Mumbai and in Pune.

The Ashram has become a centre of devotion to the saintly Venerable Fr. Agnel, where his sacred relics are preserved and venerated in an artistic cenotaph. Thousands of people from India and abroad, of all castes, creeds and communities seek Fr. Agnel's blessings  and comfort in prayer. For more than 43 years masses and novenas are conducted in different languages every Sunday. 
From Mumbai, Fr. Agnel Ashram simultaneously branched out in 1979 to Verna, (Goa) and New Delhi. In 1984 it established a branch at Vashi, (Navi Mumbai). In its continuing efforts to reach out to larger sections of the Indian people, Agnel Ashram Institutes were opened in Pune in June 1999, Greater Noida ( U.P ) in July 2000, and Ambernath in August, 2000
